warning about backing up to the cloud

By Troy, 20 July, 2019

iOS and iPadOS

Some of you already may know, but I just learned this the hard way. I back up my iPhone to the cloud. Yesterday I needed to do a restore because I had to restore my phone. I was disappointed to find that the nanmobile money reader would not redownload because it's no longer on the app store. I really liked that app and now I had to switch to a new money reader which is fine but I was a bit disappointed none the less. Beware if you really like an app you may run the risk of losing it if you restore from the cloud if it is no longer on the app store.
