Twitterrific and notifications

Hello to all,
I am needing my twitteriffic app to show me notifications, of anything that comes in, especially in my direct messages. However, i get nothing.
Is there anyway to fix this?

The only exception to notifications built-in to a Twitter app, is "Tweetings." Well, for an alternate accesible IOS client, besides Twitterific of course.
