This is partially my curiosity about how Voiceover works and what it utilizes the most. I'm also toying around with the idea of getting a new Macbook and looking at the different configurations and options. This made me wonder how intensive on ram and the CPU is Voiceover in general? For general usage such as web browsing, word processing, maybe a few other things, does eight gigs suffice for everybody? I know that on my windows machine 8 gigs doesn't really cut it since chrome alone eats up a lot of ram. Or is Voiceover more demanding on the CPU?
As an aside, how does everybody like the butterfly keyboards on the newer Macbooks? I tried one in store and I was having trouble getting used to it. The keys felt too squished together. Do you get used to the feel of the keyboard after awhile?
The keyboard issue made me consider looking into the 2015 model Macbook pros before they swithced, is looking at one of these models still a viable option today?
