iOS and iPadOS

Hi.
I want to upgrade to ios 10.3 on my ipad and iphone.
I have downloaded an ips file from apple.
Can I upgrade using this file or just downgrade?
Is it dangerous? Can I break the iphone or ipad by doing this?

Hi. I stand to be corrected

Hi. I stand to be corrected but I don't think you will be able to do this. Even when you have the file itself, Apple still need to verify the update. Generally, Apple stop signing old versions of iOS shortly after they have been replaced with an update. As iOS 10.3 is over a year old now, I would be surprised if Apple were still signing it.
Can I ask why you don't just update to iOS 11?

no games

Hi.
There are almost no games. all are 32 bit apps.
For example, I play the inquisitor very much, I don't Think that I can play that any more.
not rs games client either.
Can I just try the file and see what happens, or will I damage my ipad or Iphone?
/Kristoffer
