Does anyone else think programming in Swift is a terrible experience?

Ugh. I feel like the language is not ready for mainstream use. My code is constantly breaking. Not only that... the syntax looks like garbage. Why does everyone like Swift? I <3 Objective C for life

Hi,
I haven't been able to worm up to Swift at all.
I still don't understand why Apple decided to introduce a new language. Makes no sense to me.

Do you have some examples?

Hi.
I'm not an experienced developer yet, but I have thought about learning Swift.
Can you show some examples on the syntax and say more about why you think it's so bad? From what I understand, Swift is developed to make coding easier for newbies like me. You say it brakes and it doesn't work. I assume you have asked on forums to get help? What responses have you got? When so many people are using Swift, it should be easy to get help with the code you are having trouble with.
