Trouble typing Security Code

I set up the 2-step security protection when I sign in with my Apple ID
. I'm sorry I did. When I try to type the code into the fields on my Mac, it always says invalid entry. Is it possible to remove the 2-step security?

Hello, i suggest to you that when you get a mesage with security code on your Mac try to press on "didn't get a security code?", there choose in call or text message with securty code. That what i doo when i am required To enter the code digits.

Hi when show the edit field hit the first digit and then hit the delete key couple times and retype the code will work for some unknown reason happens this issue.
