In each turn, you first hear all of the song title choices. Then you will hear the song. As soon as you know which song it is, tap the screen, and then swipe up or down to your answer, then double tap. If your answer is correct, the faster you picked your answer, the more points you scored. You keep playing until you get 3 answers wrong.

Blindfold Song Name comes with 3 games: Name the song, Name the song with the same artist, and Name the artist.

Upgrades are available for different song pack including All Time Top 100 packs feature Billboard's top 100 artists of all times for Pop, Country, Hip-Hop + Rap,R&B + Soul, Holiday. Packs are also available for Billboard top artists since 2000 in each of the genres, and by decade.

The game was suggested by several blind gamers who enjoy other Blindfold Game TV show games.

Wow. I love this game. Big music fan here so this is my type of game. Thank you for making this. Already bought some packs. I think there may be a small bug? I play for a while and the game will say something like no more questions left. And it will end the game. And I have answered all the songs correctly. Is there a certain amount of questions.

The game is new, so there may be some issues. Send an email from the game, so I can look at the diagnostic log and see what's wrong.

Well done blind fold games! Production values have come along way since the original Blindfold Racer! You know, when your daughter was recording voice clips for use during gameplay cute, but each little step it sounded different! I know you need to make a living but, I hope the expansion packs will come down in price in the future at which point I will buy great job cheers… Rocker

Racer took to record all of the sound clips - it usually required about 5 takes to get it right. When I added the last 35 levels, my daughter was about 4 years older than when we first did it. In any case, that game would have been far less run if it was a computer generated voice - I actually tried that. It's also why I used a real voice in Bop Gesture Game - it really makes a difference.
As to price, based on the feedback of testers, I envisioned people would only get one or two music packs, based on what they liked or currently like. I didn't expect people to get more than one or two.
Should I bundle them differently?

I don’t think they are too expensive. I just wish there were Evanescence songs there but I understand why it isn’t possible. But it is an awesome game. I haven’t run across this bug that someone was talking about but I haven’t come very far in the game.

I found a rock band called evanescence. Did they ever make it to the top 100 in any year?
If not, how would you suggest I create a new category for bands like that?

By Rocker on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 - 14:17

I don’t know about Evanescence scoring a top 100 but, they had some decent success in the mid 2000s! Some ideas that I will put forth for you to consider are: One hit wonders, the British invasion, guitar gods, goofy greats etc. etc.! Thanks for the brief history on the making of racer! Nice to learn a little bit about the process! I’m not complaining too much about pricing, just looking at the average costing of an app in the App Store the trivia packs seemed a little high to me that’s all. I have a good idea regarding your market and what you need to do to be profitable. Just throwing my thinking cap on, how about a try them all for 30 days for five dollars? Spitball in here man. Keep up the great work Kid Friendly Games cheers… Rocker

It's hard to create a 30-day for $5 tryout - I would have to modify the software infrastructure to allow for that. It's do-able, but a lot of work.
But on the other hand, its a step towards a subscription model, so I will think about that.

Hi! I installed Blindfold Song Name a few days ago, and I love it. I also heard it say that there were no more questions after a few levels, when I hadn't used up my allowance of wrong answers, but I assumed that was a limit in the game so that it doesn't risk taking us forever to play. As I like many different genres of music, I have only bought the pack with the different decades in it so far, where I get quite a variety of music to guess. One thing I would like to know, though, is, are all the song clips stored in the game, or do we need an Internet connection to hear them? I've always been connected to the Internet while playing this game so far, so I ask this question purely out of curiosity, although it'd be good to know whether we can still play the game when we're offline. Thanks for yet another excellent app in the Blindfold Games series, and thanks in advance for an answer to my question.

Firstly, there was a bug that's fixed that told you that you ran out of songs. As to internet - yes, you need that - I access a website that has 30 second music previews. If I were to store all the previews with the app, the game might take up all of your storage on your phone.

I love this game! I have a suggestion for a song pack, maybe alternative music.

By Vsevolod Popov on Monday, February 5, 2018 - 14:17

Hi all! I really like this game but i haven't purchased any packs yet. I have also a suggestion to create a new pack if it's possible with alternative music such as Marilyn Manson, Arctick monkeys, muse and something like that. Or for example the packs of alternative songs since 2000s' as it's for other janras packs. Thanks!

By KidFriendlySoftware on Monday, February 5, 2018 - 14:17

I'll look into that. I need to find an appropriate list. let me know if you are aware of any.

By Vsevolod Popov on Monday, February 5, 2018 - 14:17

I think that it's good top. Do i understand right that there is a top performers since 2000s'? I asked that because i hadn't found Marilyn Manson in this top.

By Vsevolod Popov on Monday, November 5, 2018 - 14:17

Hello! I liked this game a lot. But I have a question before purchasing the bundle. Do packs get any updates of songs automatically or you have to update them manually in the new versions of the game? Thank you!

By Vsevolod Popov on Monday, November 5, 2018 - 14:17

Yes. Do you add new songs when new version of the game comes out or you update the packs without releasing a new version of the game?

Hello,
The app is good so far, however I think it needs a redo. I emailed you just a moment ago, saying that some of the songs might have suggestive content. I don’t think kids should be hearing that content. Please take a look at that message, and let me know what you think. Great work so far, though. Didn’t have any trouble playing the game.

This game has been out for a while, and this is the first time I've heard this issue. We pick up song snippets from Apple music and they are all rated safe for everyone. We do not use any of the tunes that have an explicit rating. However, if there are specific songs you want to have us remove, please send the song names to me, using the email option on the game, and I will check those out and remove them if inappropriate.

Hi Marty,

My name is André Filipe Silva and I was born in the USA. However, I come from a Portuguese background.
I would like to make a suggestion for a music pack for the Blindfold Name that song game. How about making a pack with Heavy Metal music from the Bilboard Top 100, from any decade? I've always been a huge Heavy Metal fan, so bands like Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, System of a Down, Bullet for my Valentine, etc, would be very appreciated! Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
André
