Ears Deal Or Not
Description of App
Ears Deal or Not is a fully accessible trivia game inspired by the TV Game Show "Deal or No Deal".
You start off by picking an envelope that contains cash, but you are not told how much cash is in your envelope. The game board starts with 26 envelopes, and once you've picked your envelopes, there are 25 envelopes remaining.
In the first round, you pick 7 envelopes to remove from the game board, and as each is removed, you are told how much was in that envelope. At the end of the first round, the banker will make you an offer to pay you for your envelope. If you accept the offer, you receive the cash offered by the banker. If you reject the offer, you continue to the next round.
The game continues in this manner for several more rounds, until you are at the last envelope. You can either pick that envelope, or keep your envelope. Once you pick one of the envelopes, you are told what you now have, and what you gave up. You get to keep the cash in the envelope you pick.
There are about 10 rooms where the game is played with different amounts of cash, and you can enter any of the rooms if you've won enough cash.
Ears Deal or Not comes with coins to play for free, and then you can purchase unlimited play.

When I click on the App Store link it takes me to a page that is not found. Someone did not type it incorrectly.
the accessibility comments for this make no sense. Verry aces single with VoiceOver? Dictation fails again.
Just updated the links for this entry. So it should work now along with the correct App name, description, version, and all of the links.
Thanks for letting us know of the problem.
In the description it says this is a trivia game. Is there actual trivia later on in the game or is it simply removing envelopes?
I used to watch the game show this app is based on. Not usually a gamer but I enjoy this one.
its just opening envelopes.
It's just like the TV game. No trivia.
will there be more sounds like an audience or opening the cases?
Give me a list of other sounds to add to the game.
So to me you would need sounds of envelopes opening, oohs and ahhhhs at times when the crowd should be excited, for instance, when you reject a banker's offer or when the stakes are high, and cheerful sounds when a big amount of money is won, and, of course, sad sounds when the highest case is opened ahead of time or when you give up a huge amount of money by accepting the banker's offer. Just my thoughts.
I agree with sockhopsinger. This would make the game more playable and interesting. and if you need the actual sounds, let us know where to send them. I will be happy to help.
working on it.
Hi. When I try to go in the first room, it keeps sending me back to the main menu and I get a message saying screen curtain on. When I turn it off I still can't get to play. I'm using an Iphone S.e running ios 11.2.6. I tried to go to the second room but I didn't have enough cash to play so I couldn't test it. Thanks for any help.
Another option would be to try and delete then reinstall the game. If you have purchased it, all you will need to do then is to restore it. HTH
I think you are encountering the control center or notification screen, if this is happening from the game screen and not the main menu. In that case, you are beginning your gestures too near the top or bottom of the screen.
Will open the game again tomorrow and check it out again. When I tap on the first room it just says screen curtain on and it moves me to another item. I will however try reinstalling it again.
Hi Marty, I reinstalled the game and I'm having the same problem. When I try to swipe right to go to the first room it won't let me. It says screen curtain on and it pushes me back to the first thing. I think that's the cash amount. I haven't been able to purchase the game as yet but I will as soon as I get a gift card so I can't say if the other rooms are playable but I'm able to double tap on it though. The problem is with the first room and I did go to the bottom of the screen and I still can't get to play. Hope this gets fixed soon.
Someone else mentioned this problem, and it had to do with either their rotor settings or some other accessibility setting,
I can't remember how they solved it, but I'll send your description out to the testers, and see what they say.
All your other games work fine its just that 1 which has the issue.
One of the Blindfold Game testers said that he's seen a somewhat similar issue, but not with one a Blindfold Game. He suggested to try playing the game with VoiceOver disabled. See if that makes a difference.
Hi Marty, I have another problem where I turned off voice over and playing but the tts isn't coming on and another thing is when I tried tapping on the first game it pushed me in to the settings menu and when I backed out of it I couldn't find any of the other list options in the game. I had to come out of the game and restart it. I still can't get to play though. Thanks for any help.
Since the new update of ios, I'm now able to play this game again. I'm so glad.
