Rain forecast app

I had an iPhone app that gave the chance of rain hour by hour for the next 48 hours, but it was too useful, so the developer deleted it and replaced it with something much more vague.
Can anyone recommend an app that gives that kind of specific rain info? It was very helpful for planning purposes.
Thanks.

There are 2 apps which immediately come to mind:

Dark Sky Weather: https://www.applevis.com/apps/ios/weather/dark-sky-weather
CARROT Weather: https://www.applevis.com/apps/ios/weather/carrot-weather-talking-forecast-robot

Both work well with VoiceOver, although I would personally say that the latter offers a better user experience. However, Dark Sky offers push notifications.

Another app that you may want to take a look at is Weather Gods. The developer is very active on here and has done a great job of VoiceOver support. However, I personally prefer the first two apps mentioned for getting a quick snapshot of the next hour's weather.

What about a 48-hour snapshot? What I really want to know is what's the chance of rain tomorrow at the time I'm coming home from work.

I like weather gods too. You can see up to 7 days in advance for the hours.

I can think of an app, but it does have some accessibility issues. It's called AccuWeather. I tried it, and found it not suitable to my needs, but for what you want, it works.... if you're willing to put up with a`cessibility issues that is. But I strongly agree with the previous poster in the sense that you really need to look into Weather Gods. It may be a paid app, but in my opinion, it's highly worth the small amount of money out of the wallet. Just look at its entry on here and in the app store. Trust me I'll be shocked if you don't find it fits your needs. And unlike AccuWeather, it's completely accessible.

I like the Weather Channel app. It's not as user friendly as some of the apps already mentioned but they do have a button for 48 hour forecasts that shows the rain potential. Once you hit that button the rest of the chatter vanishes and you can just swipe through the 48 hour by hour forecast. They also have a 15 day forecast That's kind of cool but obviously not nearly as accurate.

I'm noticing that some people are suggesting apps that have accessibility issues. I find this pointless. Go with one that gives a lot of advance forecasts, gives push notifications, and only costs a few bucks. Weather Gods is still being improved, we get updated on the progress by the dev, and it is totally VO accessible. The heck with those with accessibility issues.
