Voiceover Tracking/focus problem on ios

I am using an iPhone 7 but have had this problem with my 6S before getting the 7. Voiceover keeps jumping back to the top of an article or list of products. Ex. 1. In the News app while reading an article VO will either stutter and jump back to the top or just jump back to the top of the article. Ex. 2. When searching on the Amazon app and getting a list of results Vo will jump periodically to the top result, even if I am quite a ways down the list. I can touch the screen and it will usually jump back close to where I left off, but this is not the case in the News ap. I have not noticed this in Safari or some of my other apps, but all my News apps do this as does Amazon. It is quite annoying so any suggestions would be helpful and appreciated.

Voiceover tracking and focus.

I've experienced this as well, especially in the news app, and with certain publications more than others. It is definitely an issue currently, and all I can recommend is that you flag it up to Apple accessibility. It is a real pain.
