Question about attaching audio files to an email on iOS

I have an app on my iPad called Voice Memos. Every time I use email to send an audio recording, it just sits in my outbox. I get an error message in my outtbox. How can I fix this? How does one attach media such as audio recordings to email on an IOS device?

This also happens with my Song Express app. I use VoiceOver and a braille display. I am running the latest version of IOS 9. This is frustrating. Wayne

You can try texting it to your email by putting your email address in the to field. As long as it's the right size it will send. I don't know the right size but I know if it's to big it won't go.

Try to keep the recording under about 20 minutes. If that doesn't work then this all depends on your email provider and we cannot help from there. Sorry to be so blunt, but i do get questions from clients and I feel bad telling them they can't do anything to fix.
