I am not sure how to pair the focus 40 bluetooth Braille display to the iPhone 5S? If anyone can help with this, that would be awesome!

pairing the display

Hello.

Firstly, I do not own this braille display, but these instructions should work. Make sure the display is turned on and in discoverable mode. Next, go to braille settings under settings/general/accessibility/VoiceOver/braille. You need to turn on Bluetooth if it prompts you to do so. Now, swipe through that dialogue until it says choose a braille device. Find your display in the list and double tap it. It may ask to enter a code. Just enter the code on the display and press OK. After this, VO should make a little sound and your display should start showing stuff that VO is speaking. I hope this helps. As I said, I did this with a Humanware display that I got from my school, not the Focus. However, these instructions should still work.
