So I was playing this game, and ran out of chips. It said to buy more chips, swipe down with 3 fingers. So I did and couldn't get it to work. So I went into the settings, and there was an option that said buy more chips. When I double-tapped on it it said I already have unlimited chips. So if I have unlimited chips why's this happening? other than the problem of running out of chips this is an awesome game and it's loads of fun!

Hello all.
I'm having the same problem as the person above. Otherwise this is an excellent game and I will be purchasing the unlimited chips option to support the developers. Looks like the only feature that might be missing is the ability to purchase insurance.

When I went into the settings, it said I already had unlimited chips...I didn't even know there was an option to buy it, it was just given to me right from the start. Has the feature just not been implemented?

If you run out of chips, just delete and re-install the app and you'll get more chips. I'm not sure why it happens that way, but there you have it.

I got this game a couple days ago, and really like it. I'm not experiencing the problem others are having regarding getting more chips on my iPod Touch running iOS 7.1. The only thing I don't really care for is the way the pitch of the voice is higher than normal, though I'm assuming it's to make it sound more animated. However, I can live with it. I'll admit, though, I prefer Samantha's voice, even at the higher pitch. Daniel, on the other hand, just doesn't sound right to me this way.

I decided to give this game a look. Lost all my chips. It says I have unlimited, but yet swiping with three fingers doesn't seem to give me more chips. It does say buy more or wait till tomorrow. It is quite interesting, and I have always enjoyed blackjack. Hopefully, the developers will have some answers soon.

OK, try swiping left with two fingers. Got 200 more chips to play with. I sent an E-mail to the developer through the game reporting the issue. Wonder if this is an 8.x issue? I'm no developer, but Kelly said he didn't have the issue with ios 7.1 on an ipad. Interesting.

Added locale-specific currency (dollar, pound, euro, rupee). Fixed minor bug in in-app purchase.

The voice quality on the game is bad. I had the game on my four is and it sound really well. I put it on my six and now the voice of the announcer is distorted. I uninstalled and reinstalled but it didn't change. Any suggestions?

Hi! I agree that the voice quality in Bored At Work Blackjack is bad: I have only played this game on my iPhone 6, and the high-pitched version of Daniel voicing the game definitely sounds distorted all the time. I like Daniel as a voice at normal pitch, but I don't like the way he sounds in this game. That probably can't be changed, though, except perhaps by the developer, so I guess we have to put up with the voice problem. I know a lot of Americans would probably prefer Samantha anyway, but I personally don't: that's just a matter of personal taste. In spite of the voice in this game not being great, the game itself is excellent. Interestingly, as my default language is UK English, the bets come up in pounds on my iPhone in spite of me living in France, but that certainly isn't a problem. This game needs more luck than skill, I reckon, but it's easy to play once you get used to the gestures, and I really enjoy it, in fact I play it quite a lot so I decided to purchase unlimited chips when the new version came out where the bug with in-app purchases was corrected. It's probably a good thing we don't bet with real money, though, especially those of us who play this game a lot. Definitely a good game for passing the time, in spite of having some faults!

I am having so much fun with this game! i have another black jack game on my phone which is nice, but it is more work to bed and play the game. i am so grateful to have an accessible black jack game where I do not need to hunt for buttons and get past pop up screens too.
Writing computer software is a challenging thing to do so try to be patient with the creators of games etc.

This is a great game and if the voice quality could be improved, it would be even better.
