Why did Apple mess up the App Store so terribly!

By Ken Downey, 21 November, 2014

iOS and iPadOS

I founboth of minor bug in a major bug with the App Store. The minor bug is that I can only display so many results, and I hit bottom. Scrolling doesn't take me to the next set of apps, and I don't see any other way to get there. The really big bug though is that the price for an app is no longer listed… All I see is a button with the work yet. This is very disconcerting!

How to make more apps pop up. (Edited)

To get more apps to show up, you must do a double tap, and hold, then drag up from the bottom of the screen.
HTH.
*EDIT*
After i commented about the doubletap and hold, then drag to the top of the screen. I went back in to the app store. I went to look at an app that did cost money, and it does indeed say the price of the app. The only time it says, (GET), is when an app is free.

the change from "free" to "get"

if you notice, the word "free" in the app store was changed to the word "get". The reason is to comply with laws in other contries, and honestly a lot of apps aren't "free", because they have inapp purches! reference this article for more information about the legality!

Cannot Reproduce Price Bug

I've just looked at a few paid apps, and all of them list the price as they should. Free apps have a "get" button instead of a "free" button, but paid ones, at least for me, show their prices.

May Appear to Be Like That

Hello Ken,

As it may seem like a major problem. In reality it does work as it supposed to. You may want to take a closer look in what is happening. From my initial observation. I had thought the same way as you did.

All FREE apps will now show as GET. However, if they are a PAID app they will still list their rpices. So for example do a search for Mine Craft. You will see that the price is there. Flick a couple more and there is a GET app. Those are FREE still. So please correct me if this observation is wrong.

some apps say GET and others say free

it's weird because some apps say free, while others say get. I suspect that eventually, all apps will probably have a get button, but some still say free for whatever reason.
