App store crashing after the update

Hello all. Has anyone had this problem: you go to send someone a gift, only to have it crash if you try to enter a message into the field? I've done it twice and as soon as I enter the tet, app store closes and i have to go back int o submit a gift. I'm hoping i wasn't charged 20 bucks, since it's the look tell money reader app i'm trying to buy for a friend. still wish theprice dropped a bit. I understand not free but ten is a bit much. Anyway thanks for anyone's observations.

I can't speak for iOS 7.1, but under iOS 7.0 I had several occasions where the App Store would crash while I was trying to do something in it with VoiceOver, especially with my wireless keyboard. I learned to move more slowly in that app, which seemed to lessen the likelihood of the app crashing. Still, with the VO issues the app has under iOS 7, I find myself using the App Store within iTunes on my Mac instead, which works a lot better with VoiceOver.

I agree. I would try moving more slowly, and you won't be charged until you confirm the purchase, I think.

Also try the iTunes app and store on the computer as that seems to for now work better.

I had that problem too before the update.
