Changing the default media player from itunes to quick time?

Hi, all. This is Joseph here. I was wondering how to change the media player from the default iTunes to quick time player? Please respond as soon as you can. Thanks, Joseph

I am indeed using a mac, running Os 10.9.1

First get the file you want to play in quick time then press vo shift m on the file then choose get info select quick time then choose change all.
