Vox Libri 1.17 is now available for macOS

Vox Libri 1.17 is now available on the App Store!

This update adds new book formats, more customization options, several VoiceOver improvements, and better support for Apple Watch and older devices.

Here’s what’s new:

• FB2 and LaTeX support: You can now read books in FB2 and LaTeX formats.
• Improved library navigation: Finding and searching for books in your library is now easier, including improvements to the library experience with VoiceOver.
• Follow VoiceOver focus: Vox Libri can now update your reading progress as you move the VoiceOver focus through the text. This is optional and can be enabled from Settings screen in the app.
• More customization: There are additional options for customizing the reading screen and the hands-free menu. You can also choose which actions are available for the book text.
• Support for older OS versions: Vox Libri can now be used on Apple Watch with watchOS 10.0 and on Mac with macOS 15.
• Improved headphone handling: Headphone events are now handled more reliably, and activity logging has been improved to help identify potential issues.
• Music while reading: We’ve made further improvements to music playback while reading. This feature is still in beta.
• Better Apple Watch reading: Reading on Apple Watch has been improved to prevent playback from stopping unexpectedly.

As always, accessibility with VoiceOver remains a key part of Vox Libri, so feedback from AppleVis users is especially valuable.
