Hello. I have noticed a pretty annoying problem for a while now, and thought I'd see if anyone else has experienced this, and knows any work arounds.
I join many Zoom calls and meetings through work, and other projects I'm working on, and often use the IOS Zoom app with my Shokz OpenComm 2 headset. This combo works great when in a meeting, but there's one pproblem.
I noticed that if I join a Zoom meeting waiting room, where the host isn't live yet, Zoom seems to mute all audio, not just Zoom itself. I cannot hear anything on my phone at this point, including VoiceOver. Even if I minimize the Zoom app and go Home, I don't get VoiceOver. Once the meting officially starts, all audio, including VO comes back, and everything works perfectly.
I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if you know of a work around. I'd like to be able to do other stuff on my phone while I'm waiting for a Zoom meeting to start, but can't really do much with all my phone audio seemingly muted... I don't believe this used to be a problem, and I can't remember when it started. It's been at least a few months though.

Yes, but I have found a fix
Everything works as normal when Bluetooth is turned off.
Sorry to be—"that guy"
I have not experienced this with Zoom, and have used it at least within the past month. Bluetooth is on, however, I am not using Bluetooth speakers or headset. Instead I am either using the speakers from my iPhone, or wired Apple EarPods.
iPhone SE 2022, running iOS 18.6.2, for what that's worth.
