Talkback 16.1 roling out

google has started olng out talkbsack 16.1, you can now custemize the braile keyboard gestures, there is acctions for the responces that you get when you describe an image or describe screen, you can change the delay for taps and typing, although this didn't make a big difference for me, talkback is mabyy a little faster but i didn't notes a difference, there is also more languages for image descriptions and you can double tap with 2 fingers to start dictation on gboard, this needs gboard to be updated so it doesn't work right now

I would love a quick way to start dictation when the default keyboard is the talkback Braille keyboard. But glad to see the continued improvements. Eager to test on my S22 Ultra.

Hey, so in mentioning that you can change braille keyboard gestures, did they add any new ones? Ability to switch between languages or contracted vs uncontracted on the fly without using the menu? That would be absolutely incredible!
I'm still waiting on the update. I've checked multiple times and still haven't received it. Even went to the app from within tb settings to see if I could force update that way. Running Google Talkback on the S22 Ultra.

There is no new gestures, I just checked again to see and you can't change the 3 finger swipe up so it's set to open options

hope you get it soon, i found an APK someone posted in the blind android users group and installed it cause i was to inpaishent to wait for it from the play store

, I swear Talkback is starting to worry me. And I'm not even using Google's own version at the moment on my Samsung S23+!
If I do get the Galaxy S26 next year, I'm purchasing Commentary Premium or sticking to Prudence primarily! Unless I wish to hear those sweet sweet Samsung US voices while navigating around from time to time.

Voice One = Stefany
Voice Two = John
Voice Three = Julia
Voice Four = Lisa

I sadly have no clue what the UK specific voices names are sadly, same with the Australia ones.
