Hello all,
I recently baught an Apple watch seeries 10. I've got it paired to and iPhone 14. I notice that sometimes with Voiceover running, it keeps saying "Notification centre" over and over again. I don't know why, and sometimes it just takes a slight movement. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes, seeing this on my series 7
Hi,
Yes, I've been seeing this on my series 7. It seems the only way to stop it, if Voiceover will let you, is to turn it off, ,using the digital crown. Triple click to toggle.
Let me know if this helps.
What version of watchOS are you running?
I'm running the 11.3 RC & it's still happening here. It started in 11.2 I believe, but I'm not exactly sure.
I've even reset the watch to factory settings, to no avail.
Same issue
Hi!
I've recently bought an Apple Watch Series 10 and paired it with my iPhone 16. I faced exactly the same bug on Watch OS 11.6, then I've updated to Watch OS 26 Beta 4, since I already have my phone updated to beta version, but issue still not resolved. Obviously I've reported it to Apple Feedback, but now notification center on my Watch is almost unusable, cause every time focus cyclically jumps to "Notification center" making interaction with other elements very hard.
Bug
16 pro max, watch 9. Current iOS for phone and watch. Do not have that bug. Did you do a restart on phone and watch? Check your setting for notifications on both devices to see if something was change.
Same issue on my series 10
I've experienced this exact issue on all my watches running watchOS 11.
When I have the SE2 I had that issue when I upgraded to the series 10 issue still not resolved
Personally I believe it's a quality control issue in Apple as I have noticed in watchOS 11 Apple has allowed us to have easy access to notifications centre in watchOS 11 in the watch face by simply turning the crown anti-clock wise.
But we can't dismiss notifications centre by turning it clockwise instead it will be stuck on some screen between watch face and notifications centre hence VoiceOver is repeatedly announcing that.
Just to keep in mind that this will be triggered if you press on the digital crown when notification centre is accessed by turning crown anticlockwise in watch face.
So I believe that this is a major issue the Apple needs to resolve as there is way to access notification centre with the crown turn but actually no way of dismissing notification centre.
I feel that Apple these days is very careless as another example is we are able to ping our Apple Watch with our iPhone but no way to actually ping our AirPods case with our iPhone.
Isn't misplacing your AirPods case a lot more important than finding where you last put your Apple Watch as your watch will be on your wrist 98% of the time and therefore harder to miss place.
Pinging the AirPods case is so difficult we have to open Find My locate the AirPods we want to ping and click on the play sound button why couldn't we have this directly in the control centre?
I have no idea
Crown navigation
I have it on and by moving the crown, do not hear that. Maybe people need to turn it on. Had it off but it was not an issue because I did not play with it but got tire of slideing with finger to get from one conplication to another. Turning the crown Nav on works.
Yes I have it too
I have an Ultra gen 1, with whatever the latest non-beta WatchOS is. (It will be easier to remember with the next release)
I find the only way to shut it up is to put the watch to sleep - so I tend to just drop my wrist down. But it is pretty insistent so it can take a bit of flapping.
I also have a problem where it just won't respond and goes doink! every time I do anything with a similar solution.
Both these issues are really annoying.
