The first very noticeable improvement I've seen is that the text field again show as regular text field like ie was doing before, and has been showing, in chromium browsers.
Edit: completely unsure now as it does the same on sequoia, so is it rather an update from openai?

How do I remove all the widgets from the desktop in Tahoe? I can't open the actions menu with VO-Command-space, and when I bring up the context menu with VO-Shift-m or Control-Enter, there isn't a remove option. I tried going to desktop settings in System Settings and unchecking the box to display widgets on the desktop, but this doesn't work. I'm using Tahoe beta 3.

You were nearly there. VO command space, then hit show menu, down until remove widget.

That doesn't work for all of them. It only worked for one, but I still have the weather and calendar ones. Attempting to open the actions menu results in the error beep and nothing else happens. I reset my Mac after installing the latest beta, so I'm pretty sure this is a bug.

So I had this problem too, and for me the context menu doesn’t work either when I try to open it using the shortcut VO + Shift + M. But I have another way of opening that menu, and it works for me — that’s how I removed all those widgets.
So here’s how. You need to place focus on the widget you want to remove, and then bring the mouse cursor to it using the shortcut VO + Command + F5. Once you’ve done that, press Control and tap on the trackpad. That should open the context menu. And there you’ll find the “Remove Widget” option. I hope this works for you too. That’s my method.

To be exact, it's really control click on trackpad, control tap does a different thing.
Will try that. I assume the main thing is to root mouse cursor properly and then any command to open context menu should work?

Control + clicking the trackpad is the right-click for sighted users. It brings up the context menu just like VO + Shift + M does for us. And for me, this is the only way that works.

If I bring the mouse cursor and try to do it differently, it just doesn’t work for me. I don’t know why, but that’s how it is. Even when I moved the cursor to that widget and tried a right click using VO commands — well, unfortunately, the result was that nothing happened. There was no effect.

Thanks, I got it to work by physically pressing the right button on my USB mouse. I've reported this via Feedback Assistant. We're once again dealing with annoying mouse issues that shouldn't exist.

press voHH, then type in right click. By default it's not bound to a keyboard shortcut, but it simulates a right click on focused item.

Well, I already wrote about this before. The VO + H + H method doesn’t work for me. Only pressing the physical trackpad or the physical mouse button works. I don’t know why it’s like that, but yeah, for example, it just doesn’t work for me. Same with sometimes simulating a mouse click using VO + Shift + Space — that doesn’t work either. It’s weird, but that’s how it is for me. And I guess I’m not the only one.

I have just noticed that I can no longer use down arrow and tab in the applevis login form with 1password, the cursor go at the first focusable link skip to the main content. It's the first time that's happened to me, I really hope it 's just a random beta issue or just a random issue that will fix itself.
