Are there any other iOS recording apps as user-friendly as backpack studio?

I have been having some trouble with backpack studio, not able to duck music or sounds while I am speaking into a microphone. And, sadly, I know that backpack studios for the most part nonexistent and has no support. So, I am looking for something similar That will allow me to mix sound and or music and speech on the go. I have seen an app called podcast studio, but I really don’t have $20 a month to spend on such a thing. Any help would be much appreciated.

I mean, assuming it works. I realize OP is having an issue, but it doesn't follow that said issue is because it hasn't had an update in a year. Those seem like totally separate things, potentially. I guess it's possible that fading and such doesn't work now because an iOS update changed something, so it needs updated as well. But that seems fairly unlikely.

Yes, Tape It is fairly easy to use. In fact you can put a Tape It widget on your locked screen to automatically start recording. The free version probably has enough features for most simple needs.

So, I have never used this app before. It's not free. It's five dollars, and, if I remember correctly, there is a bundle that you can purchase for about $10, but I don't know if that's a lifetime purchase, or not. Back in the day when it was advertised a lot on here, Many persons said it was accessible and that the developers were very responsive to feedback. Anyway, I thought I would share the link here, in case others can tell you more, or in case it's helpful for you.
