air drop sharing not working

iOS & iPadOS
Hi, my fiancé and I both have Iphone 5's, and we can not get the air drop feature to work. We both have turned the air drop feature on, and have it set to everyone. What could be the issue?

Hello, Actually, I have found AirDrop to be quite accessible myself. It does seem to be true that you need to be connected to the same network. Your wireless and bluetooth must both be enabled on each device. I'm thinking about doing a podcast on this. Would that be of use to anyone?

Actually air drop is 100 percent accessible. Iv'e used it to transfer stuff to my family member on ios. You do have to 1 be on the same wireless network and 2 be right next to the person almost quite literally. I will be covering air drop on a podcast as soon as my victim, ur I mean friend, comes out for a vacation.

Yes, please. I would welcome a pos podcast on this feature for it has proven to be illusive for me also.

Sure thing. expect a podcast with a twist on it in about 3 or 4 weeks when iI get a brake from school. For what mean by a twist see my air drop one for osx at as I can't do much to open and find the page right now. my computer is performing a time machine back up and is pretty slow right now. lol! Take care.

So, if you're going to do one, shall I not? Mine woh't have much of a twist, so perhaps we should both do it? Thanks for the tip.
