Using Google Chrome on a Mac

I was using my Mac and I had to go to Google Chrome. I was on a website and Voice kept putting me in the tool bar for creating new tabs and managing them. When I tried to stop interacting with the toolbox, it made the unrecognized command sound effect, and I could not escape the toolbar. Do you know if there are any tips that I can use for using Google Chrome on a Mac with voiceover? Thank you and have a wonderful day.

When you are at the top level just keep doing vo right, or pressing the tab key until you land in the web content.

I'm not sure what triggers this. It happens sometimes if I'm following a link to a PDF, for example, but not always. If you can find no other way to return VO focus to the web content, try restarting VoiceOver.

Google Chrome has helped me overcome many of Safari's deficiencies, but in general, accessible web browsing has issues on the Mac regardless of browser. Have patience, and be ready to find workarounds.

Without sarcasm everything or almost is just slightly less smoother on the mac and workarounds are a must not a convenience. But I still love my mac! :) Now.

I've found pulling up the rotor with VO + U works really well with Chrome. In the "Window Spots" list you're looking for the one that ends in "Web content". Or you can just jump to landmarks and such right from wherever you are.
