Where have additional voice settings gone?

Hi all,

I've discovered an unusual bug/feature/behaviour (not sure which) which I'm trying to get to the bottom of. In essence, sometimes when browsing the web, my voice switches from Alex to Samantha for punctuation. This occurs when said punctuation, usually a comma, appears as a stand-alone UI element. I went looking to see if, for some reason, one of the voices was set to something other than the default, but couldn't find the settings. It used to be possible to set a different voice for keyboard etc. Can anyone remind me where the settings are for this? thanks.

I can not find it there, it was already buggy.

I think it was either macOS Ventura or Sonoma that removed the feature to assign a different voice based on what you are focused on. What you’re experiencing where the Voice switches to Samantha to read a comma or a period punctuation character is actually a bug. I have experienced this on my Mac as well.

Super, thanks for confirming both that these settings are gone, and that this is a bug. I'll find a way to confirm this and report to Apple... Not that it will do much good, but anyway.
