If you are talking about eloquence? Yes. I hate eloquence in anythign other than french france, that's why I switched to alison US from nuance wherever possible. For long text reading, especially if it's literature, I always use Edi in french, or when vdr was an option, margo normal from accapela. I tend to use espeak with nvda onlly because it's the real thing unlike what we have on chromevox, most linux things or even apple ecosystem.
Alex.... too complicated in terms of settings for me.
I just downloaded the Alex voice yet again just to check, but yes, I prefer Eddie over Alix. It sounded choppy and not natural. I’m not saying eloquent sounds natural, but at least it doesn’t sound choppy when you speed it up, and there is also something about the inflection. It just makes sense when you’re reading something..
