Hello all,
So it turns out that MUD Rammer (perhaps one of the only accessible MUD clients on the App Store) has been pulled. Once you delete the app, there's no getting it back, not even from iCloud.
The project itself is open sourced, but I don't think anyone has offered to make a similar variant, or pick up where it left off. The last update was over 6 years ago.
I really enjoy this app for playing MUD's, so will try to keep it around as long as I can and hope I do not accidentally get rid of it.
What are your thoughts about this action?

Terrable news.
Im glad i still have it, but its a bummer for those who haven’t downloaded it yet, or those who are getting a new device. Hopefully something can be developed in its place.
Real sad
I have it on my iPad, and was thinking I should download it tomy M4 Mac. The Apple ecosystem isn't exactly flush with MUD clients, so losing one is a blow.
MUDRammer on Mac
Don't bother downloading it on the Mac. The interface doesn't translate well and the auto-speak text feature doesn't work. I've tried it.
Hi! MUDRammer author here…
Hi! MUDRammer author here. The last update was, amazingly, closer to 10 years ago... and it shows. The app needs some significant work to be its best on modern iOS, and I don't have the time, so I made the difficult decision to remove MUDRammer from the App Store.
My most sincere thanks to the AppleVis community. Your feedback has been invaluable to me in helping MUDRammer be as accessible as possible. Happy mudding!
sad news for sure
I love Mudrammer. Since I hope to keep my current phone for as long as its functional, I will be able to hold onto this wonderful app. Most of the time, I prefer to play muds on my computer, but I love having mudrammer as an option for playing away from home. With all that being said, I sincerely appreciate the app developer coming out here to explain the situation. It makes total sense that reworking the app for modern iOS just isn't practical at this time.
Thanks for your hard work…
Thanks for your hard work. I have had it since ios 7. Thanks for the explanation
