I don't think the update has broken anything. :) As for Apple Intelligence, I have the iPhone 14 Pro so no new features for me.

LOL, poor me my phone is not going to get intelligent soon so I guess the only thing I am happy about post the update is that Audio Ducking will work as it should be working

1. ChatGPT only requires an Internet connection.
2. iPhone 14 Pro supports making Internet connections.
3. If Siri can pull from web search results since iOS 10, then it should be able to grab responses from ChatGPT just fine.

COLD. HARD. FACTS!!!!!!! Get it together Tim!

I understand your frustration, but it is my understanding that the reason older phones can't get it is because it requires more processing power.

it requires more processing power you are not being ripped off!

I will be upgrading in the next couple of days, so that will change. In the meantime, reading notes by line appears to be back, and I meant to play with the new mail app layout, but was impatient to read my email, so changed it back to the old way. I may still play with it, if anyone has found it to be helpful.

I just got an iPhone 14 earlier this year, and updated to 18.2 earlier today. While I cannot take advantage of Apple Intelligence yet, I am noticing that the VoiceOver focus issue mentioned by some here is improved a bit. I haven't noticed anything else though. Audio Ducking was never a problem for me, but the refinements are cool. I'm planning to update my Mac tonight or tomorrow, so will probably check out Apple Intelligence on here.

Correction: The native iOS mail app does appear to have some AI features, which are usable on my iPhone. I like the new layout of Mail thus far.

Love it! although I have an iPhone 14 pro and cannot support Apple Intelligence, the audio ducking refinements are cool. On mac, I love the chatgpt intigration.

I've been complaining about this since the release of 18.0. I am so glad that 18.2 finally fix this for applications like Notes, Journal, etc.
I am on an iPhone SE 2022, so I will not get Apple Intelligence either. I don't really care about that though, there are so many AI applications out there that fit my needs, so I am not too worried about it. 😉

I like this update. I use a Braille display and I have noticed faster Braille feedback responses when I pan or swipe on the phone.
