Issues with Voiceover's pronounciation dictionary

Hi all.
I was trying to create entries for Voiceover's pronounciation dictionary.
entries that don't have spaces work okay, but as soon as I add spaces, it fails to recognize the updated pronounciation rule.
Do I need specific symbols to indicate the presence of a space in the text?
Do I need to use regular expressions or something?
Thanks!

When I have issues like this I put the word all together but when I want to put in a space I capitalize the next word kind of like how you do #SomethingLikeThisAndItCapitalizesEachWordSoItSoundsLikeASentenceNotAllOfTheLettersSmooshedTogether.
