Hi - after being unreliable for a while the Clock > Alarm function on my iPhone has completely given up. It's IOS15.5 on an iPhone 8. I've got 3 alarms: weekdays, weekends & a one-off. None of them have sounded in the last 4 days, & experimenting today with setting an alarm for 5mins in the future just results in the alarm going from "on" to "off" without making any sound. I've checked settings > sounds where the settings look fine. Is there a good simple accessible 3rd party alarm clock app? OR does anyone know a fix for the problems in the Clock app?

Both options
First tried to make sure that the alarm sound is set to the sound that works, try choosing a song as an alarm sound instead.
If all else fails, there’s another app called Nightstand central, but it is recommended that you leave the app opened for the alarm to go off.
Nightstand central is a third-party app that is completely accessible with voiceover, a note about the Nightstand central app is that you have to press the info button to set an alarm.
This is literally the only accessible app I can find and it’s free
fixing the clock app.
This is very strange. I have had problems with the clock app in the past, but switching the phone off and back on again as usually solved the problem.
You could try turning your phone off and back on to see if it sorts it out. There may be a slight glitch in the software. If this doesn't work, you could try completely resetting your phone. I know this is a lot of messing around, but it sometimes fixes issues like this. When I got my iPhone SE second generation, it was having serious focus issues with VoiceOver. On a whim, I decided to try to fix the problem by completely erasing content and settings and restoring my phone from a backup.
It completely fixed the issue. However, I would only do this as a last resort if everything else has failed.
If this doesn't work, I would highly recommend you let Apple support know about your issue and see if they can help you to resolve it.
Your phone.
Hi Ricci:
I hope one of the above options will fix your clock issue. But I'm wondering, sounds like it's time for a new phone.
