Hello 👋
I am looking for any apps that help your mental health. Whether it's apps like MoodKit that help track your mood, or literally anything that can help improve your mental health. Thanks in advance!
Hi. I hope everything is going well. Don’t know if this counts, but there’s an app called hear me which allows you to talk to a listener, which is essentially like a volunteer psychologist, for lack of a better way to put it. The accessibility is decent enough. Hope this helps.
Hi, Bree! First off, I'm sorry to say, that sadly, I can't offer a solution. However, what I CAN and WILL tell you, is that, I too, am looking for these kinds of apps. So, know that you're not alone. I hope all is going well for you, and or gets better for you. If you do end up finding something, please post it here, because, I'm looking for the same thing. I imagine others might be as well.
Obviously theres no guarantees but I have found Waking Up by Sam Harris to be lifechanging, its a meditation app but its a little more depth than the McDonald’s calm and headspace. Nothing wrong with those apps but they tend toward the surface level without delving too deeply. I think of Waking Up as a user manual for human conciousness. I also found Yoga 2 hear by Sue fuller on audible to be exceptional for calming the mind and allowing you to exist in a more grounded state. They are especially good because everything is described so well. There’s everything from complete beginner to intermediate in there but make sure you get the 3 hour books as the 1 hour ones are just 1/3 of the full versions. Good luck and I hope you find some piece.
I've found hapi to be very good.
For setup you'll need sighted help but once you are through the setup process the app is definitely usable.
It's been a lifesaver for me.
