Accessibility Comments

I was very surprised at how accessible this app actually was. I didn't think this app would be accessible at all, because it is so visual and graphic. It's one of those things where you say to yourself, "Oh, I know this won't be accessible, everything else I've tried that was like this was not." It's a little bit tricky at first when you don't know how to work anything, but I did catch on.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

This game is fun. It reminds me a little of Solara, so if you like that game, you'll probably like this one. Don't quote me on that, though. Haha.

i agree. this game is very much accessible. even more than the description says. this isn't like Solara. it is literally exactly like lords and knights. its so much like it, it is almost funny. i was sitting there just about laughing because it is so similar. even some of the buttons are labled the same. for some of the upgrading buildings issues that the description mention, tap the button in the top left corner and it pulls up a list view. and guess what, it is almost identical to lords and knights. you can up grade your buildings like that. the map is accessible too. don't know if the artifacts are accessible but we will see as i play threw.

Thanks for posting, Kyle. I tried editing shortly after I posted when I found that out. And yes, the artifacts are accessible, but moving them around the board isn't, at least not that I kniw of. I tried. Let me know if you find something for that as well. :)

To Join an Alliance you will need an invite from someone in that alliance. Keep in mind though that permissions can be setup in alliances, so the person that you ask may not have invitation rights. If that is the case then that person can ask someone in their alliance to invite you. When you get the invite request... go to the Tribe tab to accept the invite request.

I have a few of these according to my mission reports but, I can't find them, if anyone can tell me where they are and what to do with them, I'd be greatful

Wiw, starting this game it seems like it works. It seems to be very much accessible and the music is good. Some of the sounds are, well, interesting, but it works and in head phones I feel like I am in a village.

One other thing I notice is this. it's the same bug in Lords and Knights. When you attempt to flick sometimes voice over will not move there. It's almost like it hits a wall and then gets stuck. I have not yet contacted the developer regarding this matter but it seems he would be willing to give this a look if enough of us did contact him.

I started an alliance or tribe as they call it. if you want an invite shoot me a pm at the game itself. My nick there is the same as it is here, marrie

Take care and love the game.

I have just begun to play Celtic Tribes and I am still learning how to move around in the game. I have a few questions that maybe somebody can help me with:
If someone takes over my village and (it being the only one I have), do I have to start building a new one from zero?
since I assume that all of my upgrades and resources will go over to the person who takes over my village, does that mean I also lose silver and bronce too?
Further more, do I lose my magic potions?
Last question:
Do I lose my units, and/or villages that I could have bought?

I am still under the 14 days protection that the game provides you with when you are new to Celtic Tribes so I don't know how it works in many ways yet.
Also I have noticed that the notifications or sound alerts aren't working.
For example, the mission completed sound doesn't play or any other alert.
I am using an iPhone six plus and running on IOS9.3.2 and just downloaded the newest update for the game from the app store thinking that the problem with the sound alerts would be solved but it still hasn't changed.
If anybody has an tribe and might want to give me a chance, my name is Raúl Valdez. Look for me and send me an invitation. I would really appreciated it.
Well, that's it for now.
Sorry for this long message guys.
Thanks for your help.
Take care.

I’ve just downloaded the app and it looks pretty good so far boring one slight point, during tutorial the game has frozen! I’m trying to select a free village to send my troops to but nothing happens, I hit send to village and nothing happens, I turn off VoiceOver and tap on the village and nothing happens.Am I missing something or is my phone just bugged with this game? Do I just have to turn off the tutorial and learn it in hard mode?

I have a Messages icon that tells me I have 0/214, what does that mean and why is it empty when I open the icon? I can access my spy reports there and there were a couple of messages there when I started but the number after the slash just keeps increasing and I feel like maybe I’m being bombarded by messages that I never actually read. If anyone sees this and is in an alliance and feels generous enough to invite me, my name is the turtle moves. But you might need to give me some instructions here on how to read the messages before I acknowledge your kind invitation. 😇
