Recommendation for Next Game Purchase

By Dylan3, 14 February, 2021

iOS and iPadOS Gaming

Hi,
I recently started playing games like Crafting Kingdom and Lords and Knights on my IPhone.
Both are interesting, but frustratingly slow.
I.E I need to wait half an hour or so for battles in Lords and Knights, and Crafting Kingdom's later levels seem to require very high numbers of coins before you can do anything interesting.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with games like this with more immediate feedback?
For those who have played Six Ages or King of Dragon Pass, is that similar?

For some reason, I seem to have trouble playing more action oriented games, and find the gestures required to control the games hard to remember and get right.
They also require arbitrary levels of accuracy when aiming, which makes the games far less fun.

Does a game like Feer have easy to use, reliable gestures?

Does anyone know of a game where you create things, and trade them to get more materials to make other things?

Thanks.

Have you tried Planet Life?

I'm not sure if this one would fit your criteria, but planet life is a lot of fun. You might also enjoy Nano Empire.

If you like casual games, why not try Choose your face, Accessible Hangman or Palabra Cadabra?

Hello,
I thought the Lords and Knights game wasn't accessable for those using VoiceOver?

Lord and Knights is very accessible

Hi. I've been playing Lords and Knights for 3 years. It is slow, definitely, but it's handy when I have time on my hands. But there's always blindfold games, Hosted Games, and Choice of Games. You might want to give them a try.

Both sound fun

Hi,
Thanks for the recommendations, they both sound like interesting concepts.
Will give them a try.

Forgot to mention I've tried and enjoyed some Blindfold Games

I liked the colour crush game, and 2048 is fun too.
I played the soccer game, and think it would be really fun except that for some reason the sound was quite stuttery so I always kicked the ball right to the goalie.

Idle Crafting Kingdom

Harvest, Craft, Sell

Gameplay got even smoother now! A lot of bug fixes and improvement in this new version! Every empire starts small! Build production sites, and start crafting resources. Harvest logs, coal, iron and many other goods. Then craft them into more valuable items and sell them on the market! Complete quests, build your own estate, and become the richest merchant in all of Crafting Kingdom! Crafting Kingdom is a lovingly crafted (pun intended!) idle crafting game with a huge amount of goods to produce, complex production chains and plenty of quests for you to complete. - Buy production sites - Build complex production chains - Complete quests and get powerful rewards - Expand your storage facilities - Build you very own estate - Endless hours of fun. How much money can you make? Note to our visually impaired players: This game is fully accessible with VoiceOver. Should the accessibility mode not turn on automatically, you can enable it by tapping on the screen three times with three fingers in the main menu. While inside the game this gesture will not affect your screen curtain setting. Have fun!

King of Dragon Pass

I think you should pick up King of Dragon Pass (probably before Six Ages). It doesn't have the wait system that you describe. The difficulty is there, but there's a lot to learn and it's just a really good game.
