In this podcast, Thomas Domville introduces us to the App Library, a new space at the end of your Home Screen pages on iOS 14 that automatically organizes all of your apps into one view.
Features of the App Library include:
- All of the apps on your iPhone are automatically sorted into categories such as Social, Productivity, and Entertainment. Categories intelligently reorder based on app use.
- The App Library shows suggested apps you’re likely to be looking for based on usage such as time, location, or activity.
- Use the search bar at the top of the App Library to quickly find the app you’re looking for. When you tap Search, apps can be displayed alphabetically, making them easy to scroll through and find.
- App Clips that were recently launched and apps downloaded from the App Store appear in the App Library, making them easy to find.

I'm one who absolutely loves the App Library, thus using it exclusively!
My only home screen, has the Siri widge it on it, along with Bing, Edge, and Outlook, in the Doc.
Cant wait to use
I am looking forward to using this. I don't won't to really have to think to hard about organizing my home screens. Now I just need to go into all my folders and move the apps to the library so I can remove all my folders. Also when in the app library you can do a three finger swipe down from the first part to get an alphabetical list of all the apps. You can do this if you don't want to tap into the search field.
