Hello
I received my iPhone 11 on Tuesday. I am very impressed. The General sound quality and speed are magnificent. Best of all my previous iPhones. I was able to slyde from the bottom of the screen upwards to reach the Home screen, but I was struggling to get the App Switcher. I created shortcuts and it works great.
2 questions please?
When I swipe through the lock screen, I find options like torch, track position etc. Where can I turn it off?
When I unlock the Home Screen I discover that the VoiceOver volume decreased for a few seconds. Is there a setting I can set?

The only time you see that is when you are listening to music, video or audiobook. Regarding volume, check your rotor volume. I do not have that issue with 11 pro max.

Hi Holger
Thanks for your reply. Now this will sounds like a silly question. So you can laugh out loud:
After turning off the iPhone 11 by pressing and hold the volume-up button and the power button on the lock screen and double tap on the shut down option, for how many seconds do I have to press and hold in the power button? I remember on the 8+ it is 3 seconds

When I turn phone off, Do v up and v down and hold power button until I hear power button from VO. To force restart, I do same but I keep holding button until VO is not talking. 15 second to force restart. Turning phone off do above ASAP.

Thank you.
Turning iPhone 11 back on is my biggest concern. Sighted people press and hold in the power button until they see the Apple logo. After a blind user has pressed and hold the power button, how many seconds does it take for the device to be powered on. I suspect I've been pushing power for too long this morning.

Yes, the iPhone 11 will stop being sold by Apple at some point. That is the case for any product they sell; newer, better versions come along and render the older models unnecessary for Apple to stock in their stores or online. However, the iPhone 11 will definitely get software updates for the next 4 or 5 years. That is a given.
