Best podcast app available on the iPhone and Mac?

Hi there
I know my question concerns the Mac as well as the iPhone but couldn't post to both. so putting it in here.
I was wondering what are people's thoughts for the best Podcast app available on the iPhone and Mac?
is it still downcast or are there other apps now out there?

I'd recommend trying all the free apps you can. The ones that are acessible are:

the podcasts app.

overcast.

Downcast

pocket casts available both on Mac and iOS. But to get access to Mac app you need premium subscription.
