I own a 2018 iPhone Xs. When I open a folder with apps in the, I’m not sure how to get back out of it. With my iPad I can just use the home button but my iPhone doesn’t have one. Thank you for the help.

Hi ekim
To exit out of a folder on iPhone X and up, just slide up from the bottom edge. Or another way that you can do this is by going to the top of the folder, like where the title is at, and double tapping on that. That should get you out. I just tested it on my Xs max running iOS 13.3.1. So it should work for you.

Also, you can use the two finger scrub gesture.

does anyone know how to access the control center from a folder in iOS 13.3.1? I can't get the control center gesture to work on my iPhone 8 when I'm in a folder.

I don't believe you can access control center from within a folder, do it while at the main home page and you'll be good to go. I think there's a setting for accessing it in apps, not sure if that applies in folders too, but there ya go!
