How do I accessibly install Windows 10 with Bootcamp?

Hi
Is there any way to successfully complete an installation of Windows 10 on bootcamp without sighted assistance?
I read that the audio drivers are non-functional during the Windows install. I do, however, have a Focusrite 2I2 USB soundcard, and I also have VMware fusion. Is there a way I can either a: use the Focusrite soundcard or B: boot as a VM to finish the setup of Windows 10, until I can install Apples drivers?
Or is there a way I can make an unattended installation that will work on bootcamp?

Thanks!

Best
Malthe

Hi:
Yep, is there a way. You have to prepare the installation with BootCamp and, then, start your Mac on the Windows partition. the installation will begin wen you select some options that you have to personalise. you will need a mini-jack headphones or, maybe, an USB card. On my Mac, MacBook Pro 2015, I only need a jack headphones. The Narrator will read you all the options, in the installation window and, also, on the postinstallation settings sutch as wifi, user account etc. I recomend you to setup the Windows settings (username and something like that) connected to internet ussing cable because the computer doesn't install at the begining the wifi drivers.

Wen Windows it's installed and more or less functional, the Apple Software Update will install all the necesary drivers that Windows requires to work good.

If you need more, only tell me.

Cheers.

Hi
Excellent, thank you very much for your help!
I have two follow-up questions:
1: How do you manage the boot manager (holding down option and picking) when needing to switch OS? Or do you just assume you're on the right option?
2: What do you find is the best option to backup your bootcamp partition? I read about the software called Winclone, is that accessible?

Thanks again!

backing up and boot manager

hello,

there is a podcast on this site called Paragon Bootcamp Backup, which is full accessible. Depending on the operating system installed you can switch between the operating with the bootcamp control panel. as of high Sierra and later, apple introduced a new filesystem which has no windows drivers. in that case, hold option down and you can switch that way. also, depending if your Mac is 2015 or later, you will not need a flashdrive for the bootcamp install. in 2015 and later Mac, the bootcamp assistant create temporary partitions to stor3e the bootcamp support software. if your Mac is earlier than 2015, you need a sixteen GB flashdrive. in that case, you have ro use it both for setup on the Mac side and installation on the windows side. if you need any help, faxwrimw or email me at Daniel.angus.macdonald@gmail.com.

Daniel

hello,

there is nnow an APFS Driver for Bootcamp. that means with all updates to bootcamp software you can accessibly switch again. spasificly, you need Bootcamp 6.1 for this option to work. also get wifi update for bootcamp, as it fixes a security issue.
regards,
Daniel
