looking for games like PUBG or fortnight!
I have posted the simualre topic a few weeks again. butg, it seems very quiet in it!
so, I decide to do it again.
do we have games like PUBG or fortnight that is accessible for visually impaired?
if not I hope some of the great developers will think about it and develop this kinds of games.
I like shooting games.
I don’t think so, I haven’t heard of any new games like that. There is building games like lords and nights Celtic tribes. Crafting kingdom.
I hope someone will start this project then!
Yes, this exists, but only for PC, not for iOS. Check out the games on this page:
Especially check out Redspot, which is an audiogame multiplayer shooter. You find your enemies by sound, there are guns and swords and stuff like that. It's not really for me, but I tried it and there's an active community playing it.
I like shooting games
You want to make something like pUBG or Fortnight you're going to need a lot more than just a few guys programming an audio game in a basement somewhere. in an ideal world, unreal would build tools into Unity to make this process easier. I do agree that the game selection for the blind is, shall we say, limited, no offence to the great work Marty is doing with BFG and all the people over at Audiogames.net, but it's true. I don't know anything about coding or development, but I do know that the only way we can make something awesome is if a bunch of people get together and form up a legit company to make this stuff. If I had the money, I would back a project like this.
I agree. if someone willing to create a game like this.
I would like to paid for it!
I am not expecting everything is free for us.
I don't think Unity would let Unreal anywhere near their engine! Unreal and Unity are direct competitors.
hey! if somebody will do it! nothing is impossible...
still looking forward to this kinds of games though!
Before considering whether such project can be put into motion, you have to consider all the game parts.
Pub G and Fortnite are based on a lot of graphical elements. Such include aiming, shooting, cutting, diving, running, vehicles, and much more.
Now, imagine all of that, with each category having many different gestures, put into a project for iOS specifically geared towards us. Before you even reached the third category, there would be no more gestures to use.
For Mac and PC, it seems more likely, as there's not only a keyboard, but a trackpad / mouse. But if this were tried on iOS, it just wouldn't fully work unless categories were eliminated.
Hope you understand what I mean.
Uh, Redspot is gone.
Hello not sure if this will work or not but there is some games that involve mission and shooting and stuff for accessible that for us like downtown La Fia battle cry and torn city tour of the city is a tax base game sorry torn city is a text based game Hope these work I recommend him and they work with voiceover on mobile I meant them
Don't even get me riled about text games. I, hate, I really hate text games. It says you are using your imagination. Really?
No thanks, I will pass and rather use sound to guide me along my ways of shooting and all that.
That was a bit too far. There are people who love using their imaginations, in fact I do. There's absolutely no reason to sledgehammer text games, that is your opinion and it doesn't need to express that much hate.
I don't like text game too...
we have too much text games...
do you think use controller to play it .
and when you plug in the controller no-matter ps4 or XBox.
and automatically turn on accessibility mode.
does it sounds better?
Text games are just a certain type of game. I'd argue that the choose your own adventure games are not really games at all, rather extensions of books and they are very rail road by their nature. I think they do involve imagination for the player in the concept of the written parts, but there is very little agency in the games themselves.
Good for those who like them but they should certainly not be the only type of games available to us, neither should we just have resource management games and card game conversions. I'll mourn them yet again, but the something else games such as the nightjar and papa sangrie were a hopeful flash in the blind gaming world which soon faded. It would be excellent if there were a means of developing a module that other devleoprs could simply add into their games that convert stationary or moving objects into 3d sound, you know, the kind of way we get around in real life. Maybe someone could come up with a guide dog/seeing eye dog mod for fortnight?... With a gun on its head and exploding poo...
I enjoy text games
I have just discovered the audiowizard, do not know if it may b an alternative to PUBG? or something?
You can Try this very amazing game on windows, it is called "The killer" it really has all the PUBG options, SOmetimes server is not so good, but it is working, hope i can find something for IOS
I just looked and the Lords and Knights game is no longer listed in the app store. what was this game about?
Lol in which world are the games of BFG considered great work? They are repetivive money making machines with boring gameplay, repetivtive actions, overpriced and what not.
I say it again, BFG is basically the LJN of audiogaming.
Well there is one but I could do with some help. Please reply if you want to play, and try and help out with navigating the menues. It says that it is accessible. Reply and I will tell you the name. Alright, I shall tell you. It is called jumpin sourcers. There is a free version and a paid version. I recomend playing the free one first. I mean, you need to try before buy. Xnless it is fully premium with no free content.
I tried to find it in the IOS store, but can not find it, can you put a link please? or what can i do?
Oh so you would rather it be like there is not mmo games because text based games do use your imagination because you decide what to do next. Also infinite story. It's my favourite game. And what about life sim? That game that no one likes but I do?
