Hi all. I just found out that Mint is shutting down on January 1. You can move to other services or to CreditKarma, but it doesn't have nearly the same features as Mint yet. I can't afford to pay for a budgeting app, at least not much, so I need something free or cheap. I'm looking for one that has features to help you keep track of subscriptions and bills, and allows you to connect your bank accounts so you don't have to add things manually. It would also be great if it has an accessible Web or Windows app. Any suggestions?

Learn to budget on your own
This is what was done before the advent of smartphones, personal computers, etc., and it's also a great way to learn other financial management and mathematics skills as well without the dependence on a third party. Balancing a budget or checkbook and keeping track of your own financial health isn't difficult and can even be quite beneficial in the longterm especially if you are someone with limited or fixed income. Apps may make the process easier, but an app won't help you if you don't understand how to budget your financials properly or how to keep track of everything in the first place. Good luck.
Thanks but not sure that will work for my situation
Thanks for the suggestion, but for reasons besides my blindness, I don't think budgeting on my own would work. I actually tried budgeting with a spreadsheet years ago and absolutely hated it because I could never remember to enter transactions after they happened. This was before my health declined to the point of being bedridden, where it is now, and before I started having issues with memory loss. I doubt that form of budgeting would go any better now.
did you find one
i would like to know as well
Every dollar is good
Hi,
The EveryDollar app, from Ramsey Solutions is good!
There is also a website. EveryDollar.com and you login with the same credentials you use for the app.
The website works very well with Jaws on the PC. I’m not sure about voiceover on the Mac, as I haven’t tested that part of it.
They do offer a premium version and one of the things you get with that, is the ability to import transactions directly from your bank.
