Hi,
I'm actually seeking recommendations for this headset for my aunt, I'm her go-to tech person. Anyway, all of my headsets are either expensive, heavy, and bluetooth, or a combination thereof. So what she wants is a simple, no-frills pair of around-ear, or on-ear wired headphones that she can use to watch her movies on her computer. She's a PC user, who isn't very techy, so I can't in good concience recommend a bluetooth model.
Do they even make wired headsets that are around or over the ear and lightweight anymore?
Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

I'm using one now.
I got it from the dollar store and they're surprisingly pretty good.
If you want light weight, no frills
It's very basic but I think will get the job done. Sony makes it. https://www.amazon.com/Stereo-Portable-Headphones-Headset-Samsung/dp/B011TNK6V4/ref=sr_1_9?crid=2CEV3MIJ9BPUQ&keywords=sony%2Bwired%2Bheadphones&qid=1657029741&sprefix=sony%2Bwired%2Bheadphone%2Caps%2C106&sr=8-9&th=1
Koss PortaPro
I have been using Koss PortaPro wired headphones for daily use for ever. They are light, comfortable, sound decent, and last a long time. And if they break, Koss has a no questions lifetime warranty that replaces them for 9 bucks. Even when you mangle them in the vacuum's power head.
They list for around 45, but can often be found on sale for much less. I keep a couple pairs in stock just in case the vacuum gets hungry again.
If I want to go wireless with them, I use a little blue tooth headset receiver that has volume, playback controls, and a microphone.
