Accessibility Comments:

For the most part it is accessible to use. Although, there are a few problems that make things more difficult than it needs to be.

Here are some of the minor VoiceOver problems that I have seen when using the app.

First, when you go in to the Events section of the app. You will find some elements that are simply announced as clicks by VoiceOver. There are no indications what they are supposed to be. The other minor problem is when you read any of the News from the Latest News or the Announcements. It only offers you a small snippet of the actual article. One must double tap on the link that it provides to you to read the rest of the article. Which will open the Safari app and locate you to the article from the web. The problem becomes now that you have open the Safari app to read the article. There is no way back to the NFB Connect app itself. So one will have to open the AppSwitcher to find the NFB Connect app running and double tap on it to return back to the app or relaunching the NFB Connect app from your springboard.

Lastly, you will find when you go in to the Chapters and Regional Information section. You will not be able to get back to the Main page. Not are not able to return back to the Main page but I was never given any information. It appears that it is trying to load information for me but never gives any results back. So one have to open up the AppSwitcher and kill the app from there. Once killed you can relaunch the app.

VoiceOver Performance:

VoiceOver reads most page elements.

Button Labeling:

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability:

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.
