Accessibility Comments:

Despite SiriusXM's best efforts, we finally have an easy app to use. Don't forget that a satellite radio subscription is required to use this app. However, once you have your subscription, this is a very easy app to navigate. And, best of all, it even offers desktop access as well. Point your web browser on your computer to http://mobile.musicdock.com and you can thwart SiriusXM again with the ability to listen from your computer.

VoiceOver Performance:

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling:

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability:

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and is easy to navigate and use.

music doc no longer giving artist/title information for songs

Has anyone had problems with music doc no longer giving you artist and song information when using it with the i-Phone or i-Pod? I have experienced this for some time now and was not sure why. I tried re downloading and re installing the app, but it didn't work. Any ideas on how I can fix this would be appreciated as I get to here songs on xm that aren't played over local radio. Thanks.

song and artist info

It seems like they dumped this function of the app awhile ago. I haven't seen it available in over 6 months. Buth then again, even when it was there, it wasn't accurate, so you really aren't missing much.

I noticed this too

Yep, the app is utilizing legacy streams that Sirius xm was using a long time back, and i'm glad they're still available. The Music Dock app isn't able to receive a bunch of the newer channels now available on Sirius XM, which is kind of a shame. I tried the regular Sirius xm app, but got nowhere with it so deleted it. So I use music dock, and even paid for the premium sound quality for a few bucks. It works pretty well!
