A Demonstration of Sling Television on the 4th Generation Apple TV
In this podcast, Joseph Hodges gives us a demonstration of the Sling TV app on the 4th generation Apple TV. Sling TV is a subscription-based service that lets you watch live television "anytime, anywhere."
Thank you for putting together this podcast. I was still under the impression that Sling was inaccessible for us on all platforms, so I'm now looking forward to trying it out on the TV. Let's hope it will become usable on iOS as well in time! I too have contacted them, and received the most likely stock response that they would forward my request to their developer team. But it's a start.
Thanks again for the good podcast.
Does sling pass through any audio description track that may exist on things such as USA or fox? Thanks!
No audio discription is availible
Joe, Are you experiencing the SlingTV app crashing on TVOS 10?
Yes I am disappointing since everything was working well.
hi I just got the sling TV app in your podcast is very helpful I am wondering though if there is a way to find a list of channels by name cording to which the order they are on the app for example saying one FX to FX on demand and so on and so forth if there is not a list like this in the app is there a list I can access online that's got the channel set up like this for each package sorry if this is confusing I can try to explain myself better if you need me too
I heard there is a "my channels" tab somewhere. If so, how to you assign channels to it? Thanks.
