We are very excited to announce our fourth annual Apple Vision Accessibility Report Card and invite you to participate in the survey that will determine the ratings.
Launched in 2023 for the 2022 year, the aim of the Apple Vision Accessibility Report Card is to present valuable insights to Apple and our community from those who rely on VoiceOver, braille support, or the low vision features available on Apple devices. Past report cards have been tremendously insightful; providing blind, DeafBlind, and low vision users of Apple products a forum to speak honestly and openly about their experiences using Apple products, software, and services.
The survey used to produce the report card covers vision accessibility features on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS. The survey is open to people who are blind, DeafBlind, or have low vision and who used at least one (1) Apple product or service during 2025. The survey asks you to rate these features and your experience of using Apple software on a scale of 1 to 5 (where 1 is the least-favorable rating and 5 is the most-favorable), and optionally provide additional written comments. We also invite you to rate and comment on new vision accessibility features introduced by Apple in 2025, as well as Apple's performance in addressing vision-related bugs over the past year. Finally, we encourage you to share your suggestions on how Apple can enhance their vision accessibility features and user experience, and better serve the needs of their blind, DeafBlind, and low vision customers in 2026 and beyond.
The report card, including a curated list of user-submitted comments, will be shared directly with Apple and the community in the coming weeks. The report card will provide a clear and concise summary of the results, highlighting key insights from the feedback we receive. Your participation and responses will enable us to identify areas where our community believes Apple is excelling or where improvements can be made, and hopefully, influence Apple's roadmap for the coming year.

Prior to submitting a survey response, we ask that you please review the following:
- Before starting the survey, we recommend that you review last year's report card.
- When submitting ratings and comments, please only provide responses for questions where you have personal experience with the accessibility feature and platform in question. For example, if you exclusively use VoiceOver on an iPhone but do not use macOS, we ask that you please only submit answers for the questions relating to VoiceOver on the iPhone. While we recognize that many in our community have opinions about Apple's platforms beyond those with which they are personally familiar, only submitting ratings for platforms that you use will help ensure that the survey results accurately reflect the views and lived experiences of end users of the product.
- The 1-5 rating scale we are using is a typical model where 5 is the best score. So, if you give a rating of 5, it means you are highly satisfied with the aspect being rated; a rating of 3 means you are neither satisfied nor dissatisfied; and a rating of 1 means you are highly dissatisfied.
- In this survey and our report card, "vision accessibility features" refers to the available functionalities and capabilities of the software, while "user experience" refers to your overall user satisfaction with and ease-of-use of the software.
- In one question, we ask about the new accessibility features introduced in 2025. To help you answer this question, we recommend taking a look at the preview of these features and Scott Davert's blog post discussing what's new in iOS 26 accessibility for blind and DeafBlind users.
- Before submitting the survey, please take a moment to carefully review your ratings and comments to ensure that they are a fair and accurate representation of your experience and opinions. By providing thoughtful and well-considered feedback, you can help ensure that the survey results are meaningful and constructive.
- Each person may complete the survey one (1) time.
- By completing this survey and including comments, you grant AppleVis permission to publish some or all of your comments in its Apple Vision Accessibility Report Card. You can opt to be attributed by your AppleVis account display name or quoted anonymously.
- To ensure accuracy and authenticity of user content, AppleVis will not correct spelling, diction, capitalization, punctuation, or make any other grammatical modifications to comments included in the report card. Comments may be lightly formatted to ensure consistency of presentation and content accessibility.
