After my last post, I ended up finding that the ports on my old laptop are broken, so I was able to get a new one - Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon running Windows 11.
I now find that via bluetooth the braille sense will connect fine, but over USB, it will connect and then disconnect constantly, over and over again. I've tried 5 different cables, although not a brand new one. I also know it is not the port because other devices connect successfully.
I'm guessing it's an android not wanting to play nice with other things kind of issue, but it would be great to resolve this. The braille sense is on the latest firmware and i have the HIMS USB driver installed correctly, because in the few seconds that it is connected successfully, the braille is displaying correctly.
If anyone could help that would be great.
