I haven't set up a new email account for over 25 years. I have to set one up and wondered if anyone can recommend a service which is window, NVDA or Narrator, accessible, or do we still have to deal with those pesky CAPTCHAs?
I've tried setting one up a couple days ago but it told me that my number was used to much, but if you've not used your number that much in setting up an account for google, it's easy to do.
Make sure you remember your password or if you can ssave it in your browser, do that, it's easier.
Settup is very accessible,, as far as I know there's no captcha, they use the phone number instead with a code.
Seems Gmail is the one most use now. Not sure about captchas during setup. Tip: I have found the AI apps such as JAWS's picture smart can solve them. (Yes it makes them totally pointless).
I find Gmail easier to use via a client rather than its web interface. iOS for example, knows how to talk to Gmail.
Outlook.com, or Gmail, might be your best options these days. However, getting an iCloud.com account should also do you well. The only issue with the iCloud option, is that you have to go into your Apple account and create app passwords for individual apps, Before you can use it on non-Apple applications.
HTH.
PS I always forget how many "Brian's" are on this website… 🫣
