watchOS and Apple Watch Apps

Hi all, is it possible to measure your steps taken on an apple watch, if so, how is this achieved? Many thanks for your help in advance.

If you open the Activity app on your watch, near the bottom, you can see your stepcount so far.

If you want to see your stepcount as a complication, then sadly, you'll have to download and install Pedometer++, as this is the only stepcounting app, that I know of, that has a complication that can be added.

Sadly, Apple hasn't given us the option to add the stepcount from the Activity app as a complication. You would think it wouldn't be hard to do, but they still haven't done it.
