Good Morning,
I have an Apple Watch Ultra 2, running watchOS 26.2.
I am trying to get, “raise to speak” to work.
I have both Siri & raise to speak enabled, but Siri never engages, unless I say, “Hey Siri” prior to every command.
If I don’t, nothing happens.
Has anyone else seen this behavior?
Things I’ve tried:
1. Restart the watch
2. Turn the watch off & back on
3. Unpair & restore from a backup
4. Unpair & setup as new
All of the above failed.
I’ve made a video demonstrating the issue & Apple accessibility will be calling me back tonight to collect that & get it sent up to engineering.
In the meantime, does anyone have any ideas as to what might be going wrong & how i might fix it?
This feature hasn’t worked correctly since I got this watch last February & I came from a series 7 on which the feature worked but the battery life was horrible because it was 3 years old & I’d somehow cracked the screen, which caused Voiceover gestures to be misinterpreted.
