Discussion of accessible streaming services for Apple TV

tvOS & Apple TV Apps

I’m thinking about cutting my cable service, and I’m looking for the most accessible streaming alternative for Apple TV. Appreciate all of your suggestions in advance.

What country are you in? Netflix and Amazon Prime Video are both very accessible and are international, but beyond that, we need to know what country you’re in to be able to make recommendations.

Amazon Fire TV products are accessible and even as far as most tricks done on www.troypoint.com.
The famous Kodi is 100% inaccessible when using Voice View but I am completely satisfied with Cinema and SiberFlix.
I also run a VPN by Private Internet Access.
If you want anymore info feel free to ask as I just ordered the second gen FireStick after a year with the first one.

Hi there,

So I switched away from streaming services to treditional cable. I'm going the other way, haha. To be fair, it's included in my rent, so, there is that.

I had great success with Sling on the Apple TV. If Direct TV Now fixe4d their apple tv app in the past three months or so, I'd reccommend that, too.

The only issue with Amazon Prime is the unfortunate disregard of your speech settings; the app is really slow, in other words. You can use it, though, and for Bosche, it's worth it. :).

Don't forget, last resort, you can always airplay from your phone to the TV. If you're like me, though, I want it to work on my damn tv. :).

Lol I am like you when it comes to having it work on your tv. I was wondering about Sling... tried it a few years ago and it wasn’t very accessible. Does it work better now? Thanks!
